inThis weekend I was very busy with a yard sale, family get together, and the usual Sunday activities. I did however finish Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake, which means it’s now on to Ghosts of Thornton Hall. I’ve only played this one once, twice if you count the first time I played it when the game froze up. In my opinion if you crossed Ghosts of Blackmoor Manor with the Crystal Skull, added in Ghosts Dogs of Moon Lake, and then just a pinch of Shadow at the Water’s Edge, you get Ghosts of Thornton Hall.
Anyway I’d better start playing times a ticking.

I may have played Nancy Drew Games at little too much lately, if there even is such a thing. I’ve started doing paintings of various scenes from the games. So far I’ve done the boat at Ransom of the Seven Ships and the Golf Entry in Secret of the Old Clock.

inGreetings from somewhere in the Canadian Rockies. I’m staying at the Icicle Creek lodge, and I must admit I’m having a much better time (in spite of the freezing temperatures) than I did last time. Last time I was here I wasn’t on a vacation, I was well let me start at the beginning.
Chantal Monique the owner of the lodge, phoned me to ask if I could help her with a problem. Strange things were happening and to add insult to injury a lone white wolf I started hanging around. So you know me, I can’t pass up a good mystery or a free trip, so I packed my suitcase and headed to Canada.
When I arrived Ollie the resident Handy man picked me up from the airport. As we drove to the lodge, we chatted, well I guess you could call it that., Ollie didn’t say much, but he did tell me about his daughter, Freddie, who I most definitely met later. As we approached the lodge, we heard the wolf howl, followed by a loud explosion…..This mystery was off to a bang, no pun intended.

I’m working on a N. D. game scavenger hunt. You have to find objects, words, etc. within the game. Some games are proving harder than others. It has made me look closer at the games. Hope to have it here soon. : )

What is your least favorite ND game? So far mine is Curse of Blackmoor Manor. In fact I’ve never finished it. (I will one day though). I know it’s a favorite for a lot of people but I didn’t like it. I prefer the games where Nancy “gets out of the house”, and goes and does things. In CBM the entire game (or what I’ve seen so far) takes place within the house. Also she’s in England, I didn’t see much of the “English” culture in the game. Oh she has to order the food and learn cockney, but there needs to be more. That’s just my opinion.
